Christmas Hand Pies Recipe
Christmas is my favorite time of year and I’m always looking for cute and creative ways to make desserts for my family! I decided to give these Christmas hand pies a try and I am so glad I did – they’re the perfect size for a snack! They were incredibly easy to make and even though it looks like they take a lot of work.. they take barely any time at all! The best part of these hand pies is that you can use any cookie cutter shape you’d like… my kids wanted snowflakes and Christmas trees!
As I said, it’s incredibly easy to make these pies. Roll out the dough, cut the shapes, fill them with with pie filling, place the tops on and seal with a fork, and spread egg wash on them… It really is that simple!
Leave them in the oven for about 10 minutes or until edges start to brown.
Sprinkle them with confectioner’s sugar… it makes them look even more tasty!
I love how fun and festive these Christmas pies came out. They tasted great cold or warmed up and made for a delicious Christmas treat!
