Chocolate Chip and M&M Cookies

These delicious Chocolate Chip and M&M Cookies are a favorite during the Holidays!  The M&M colors are easily swapped out for whichever Holiday that is being celebrated.  They’re perfect for all year round!

Perfect Cookie for the Holidays

Whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas, these cookies are sure to fit!  During Valentine’s Day, you can substitute the red and green for pink and red.  Great colors for Thanksgiving would be Brown, Red, and Orange.  And of course, my favorite, red and green for Christmas!  Get creative, this cookie is very versatile to fit whatever your occasion may be.

Getting A Perfectly Shaped Cookie

I start by rolling the cookie dough into same shape balls.  Also, in this recipe, I used a little more flour to help make the cookies rise a bit more.  It’ll make them a little taller but before baking, I use the back of a spoon to slightly flatten the tops of these cookies out.  It helps shape the cookies into a uniform round shape.  It also makes them presentable when giving as gifts during the Holiday season.

Top the Cookies Off With A Little Extra

After baking these cookies and before they completely set, add extra chocolate chip and M&M pieces to the tops of the cookies.  It’ll make them look even more delicious and make them picture perfect!

  1. This cookie sounds like a great addition to our cookie platters. I will have to triple the batch so there would be enough to spread the love.

  3. Simple! I love simple and I need simple right now! This is the kind of recipe I can show my daughter and let her go to town in my kitchen! She can do this one all on her own without my help! Such a fun recipe for the kids!

  4. I’m a cookie girl and so are my kids. Baking cookies with my kids is my favorite way to spend the holiday season. I’m saving this recipe, as my kids would love anything with m&m’s
